How is the diagnosis made?
X rays are the main diagnostic tool used for fractures and dislocations. Soft tissue problems can be diagnosed at the time of consultation.
Sometimes CT scans or MRI scans are required to help in diagnosis or for operative planning.
What are the treatment options?
Brace and physiotherapy do constitute a large treatment option for most conditions however operative treatment is a consideration when the disease process or injury is severe enough.
